GRASP Giving Dropout Learners a Second Chance at School
Restoring Hope Through Education
GRASP is committed to transforming lives by supporting school dropout learners and giving them a renewed opportunity to pursue education. Through targeted educational support, GRASP helps vulnerable students return to school and rebuild their future with confidence and dignity.
One such beneficiary is Fiona, currently a Form Four candidate, whose education journey was interrupted when she dropped out in Form Two due to financial challenges. At the time, Fiona had lost all hope of ever returning to school. She comes from a single-parent household, where her mother works tirelessly to raise Fiona and her brother on her own.
Through GRASP’s intervention, Fiona has been able to resume her education. GRASP is currently supporting her with school fees, textbooks, school uniform, bedding, and essential personal effects, ensuring she can focus fully on her studies without the burden of unmet basic needs.
Fiona’s story is a testament to the power of timely support and the belief that every child deserves a second chance at education. Through initiatives like this, GRASP continues to restore hope, strengthen families, and invest in a brighter future for vulnerable learners.
