Elderly Care & Protection Program

Dementia is not witchcraft - Every elder deserves dignity

Elderly Care & Protection Program

About This Program

Our Elderly Care program addresses the critical need for elder protection and dementia awareness in Kilifi County. Through door-to-door visits, community dialogues, and intergenerational awareness campaigns, we work to combat elder abuse, challenge harmful misconceptions about dementia, and ensure elderly persons receive the dignity, care, and support they deserve. We provide training on hygiene, social behavior change, psychosocial support, and work to map elders living with dementia to ensure they're properly recognized in our health system.
