From 20 to 100 Children: The Growing Impact of GRASP Academy

When Grace Link Springs of Hope began in 2020, we were a family-run nutritional center operating from a residential house during the COVID-19 pandemic. We started with 20 children from ultra-poor families who desperately needed meals and basic care.

Today, we are proud to announce that GRASP Academy (Grace Link Springs of Hope Preparatory Academy) now serves 100 children aged 2-12 years!

This growth is both a blessing and a challenge. As more families learn about our work, more children in need are brought to us. These are children from:
• Ultra-poor vulnerable families
• At-risk peri-urban communities
• Families struggling with food insecurity
• Single mothers and teenage parents

What We Provide:
• Quality early childhood education
• Daily nutritious meals
• Learning materials and uniforms
• Psychosocial support
• Safe, nurturing environment
• Daycare for infants of student mothers

The Challenge:
While we celebrate reaching 100 children, we face significant challenges:
• Limited classroom space (construction underway)
• Need for more teachers and learning materials
• Feeding 100 children daily requires substantial resources
• Infrastructure development to accommodate growth

Construction of proper classrooms is underway and will be completed in the next 6 months. However, we continue to operate amidst financial constraints, providing meals, paying teachers, and purchasing learning materials.

We believe every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their family's economic status. Through GRASP Academy, we are breaking the cycle of poverty one child at a time.
